AS part of a year of free events to help creative and heritage businesses, Highlands and Islands creative support programme XpoNorth are bringing a new workshop.

The one-hour session will introduce participants to the innovative ways of transforming storytelling into a tool for business.

It will be hosted by XpoNorth adviser, storyteller, film-maker and author Jessica Fox.

She has established a unique 'bookshop holiday' experience in Wigtown and published a book about her journey from working in NASA to living in small town Scotland.

Ms Fox said: "Telling stories is something innate to all of us, yet we often don’t realise the

power of this everyday act in cultivating strong relationships with others. By learning how to

implement storytelling as a business device, participants will be empowered to form more

meaningful connections in the workplace, to the benefit of businesses and personal

relationships alike."

The workshop will be hosted online from 11am on August 11.
