The Black Isle Show is scheduled for August 3/4, 2022 – and the hunt is now on for a coordinator to help pull it all together.

President Freida McKenzie said: “The Black Isle Show is the biggest one-day show in Scotland and is a very popular event for the whole community.

“The Black Isle Farmers' Society exists to promote the interests of farming, agriculture and the countryside and at no time has this been more important to our local community than at present, with food security and food miles being uppermost on everyone’s mind. The financial benefits to the local community are huge.”

Exhibitors and members of the public are “really keen” to see the show go on, with the emphasis on a Covid-safe, family-friendly event.

Ms McKenzie added:“We have a great administrator in post and are now looking for a show co-ordinator to help pull the event together.

“The role, which requires some show experience, could be filled by an individual or company. We require someone who can mesh with our existing team and help us to implement our future plans.”
