Inverness man admits supermarket assaults and disturbance
A 20-year-old man who created a disturbance and was involved in two assaults in a two-week period will be sentenced next month.
Sheriff Robert Frazer deferred sentence on Cameron Young, of Wimberley Way, Inverness, after he pleaded guilty to the three offences, for a background report and a restriction of liberty order assessment.

Inverness Sheriff Court heard that a supermarket worker had arrived for his shift at the Co-op store in Nairn's High Street on July 2 last year when he remembered he hadn't switch the lights off on his bike.
Fiscal depute Shay Traynor said he returned to it, but found it being looked at by a group of youths whom he told to move away.
"Cameron Young took umbrage at this and punched him three or four times, pushed him into a window, dragged him on to the ground and struck him on the body with a traffic cone before again punching him on the ground,” the fiscal said. “It was an unprovoked assault."
He went on to describe two incidents on the evening of August 2 last year when Young arrived at a house in Ashton Road, Inverness, threw a wheelie bin into a garden there and made comments about fighting a member of the family living there.
"He eventually left, making gestures with his finger,” Mr Ashton said. “Police were called but were unable to trace him."
On the same date, Mr Traynor said that Young was involved in an altercation with two shoppers at the Tesco store in Eastfield Way, Inverness which escalated into an assault whereby Young hit his victims repeatedly on the head.
Sheriff Frazer told defence solicitor David Patterson before hearing from him: "These are three separate incidents. I want a report."
Sentence was deferred until April 10 for the criminal justice social work report and Young's bail was continued.
