Inverness sex offender threw a container of urine at police

A sex offender who was arrested for breaching a court order threatened police and threw a container of urine at one of them after being placed in a jail cell.

David Geddes, of Hawthorn Drive, Inverness had been taken from his home on October 5 this year and shouted and swore at the two detectives and threatened them.

He admitted threatening behaviour and as he was on a court order, Sheriff Gary Aitken deferred sentence on the 39-year-old for a background report.

Geddes was released on bail having been in custody since October 7 and told to return to Inverness Sheriff Court on November 21.
