'Serious accident' closes A835 between A9 Tore roundabout and Conon Bridge, Traffic Scotland announces

MOTORISTS have been warned that a busy Black Isle road has been closed as the result of a "serious accident".

The A835 is shut between the Tore roundabout and Newton of Ferintosh/Conon Bridge.

Traffic Scotland made the announcement at 12.07pm, but no further details were released at the time.

"The A835 is closed between Tore Roundabout and Conon Bridge due to a road traffic incident," said a spokesman.

"Drivers are advised to find an alternative route and to expect delays."
