First Minister Nicola Sturgeon advises Scottish pupils who have coursework to complete should NOT attend school during coronavirus crisis

Schools are closed and pupils should not be attending even if they have coursework to complete the First Minister has said.

Nicola Sturgeon delivered the message during her daily press conference briefing.

In the face of some confusion, apparently, she said that, in the face of an escalation around the advice on social distancing, with immediate effect no young person with coursework to complete should attend school to do so.

She said exams body the SQA would set out details soon about how that will be dealt with.
