Loss of water supply forces closure of Inverness school, says Highland Council

A WATER supply failure forced an Inverness school to close early on Friday afternoon.

Highland Council has confirmed that Hilton Primary and its nursery will be shut for the remainder of the afternoon owing to the lack of water.

There was no immediate word as to whether the loss of water was restricted to just the school.

However Scottish Water's main supply issues and outages map was showing no major issues in Inverness at the time of writing.
