The star himself said it was a ‘fun show’ while one fan said ‘fantastic concert, loved all the songs, the band, the stories’.
Russell Crowe rocked up to Eden Court last night as part of his Indoor Garden Party tour around the UK and now heading to Italy.
The Hollywood star had no need to ask “are you not entertained” as his audience in the Highlands certainly was most pleased.
According to one lucky fan, Patty Prince, who got to meet him: “Russell Crowe & Indoor Garden Party concert in Inverness... fantastic concert, loved all the songs, the band, the stories & getting to meet Russell was just an absolute pleasure.
“So multi-talented & such a really nice man! Can't wait to do it again in New Orleans.”
Not only did he play his songs, but as Ms Price said he told stories, including this one about alt-country legend Johnny Cash – another major star with Scottish heritage.
Those Scottish roots may have been what attracted Mr Crowe to the Highlands in the first place as in January he claimed he may be descended from the 11th Lord Lovat.
Mr Crowe was studying his family tree when a cousin discovered a link to the clan chief on his father's mother's side via a Scot called Angus Fraser who was a descendant of the ‘The Old Fox’.

He also appeared to be studying a little gaelic too so as to get right into the spirit of things.
