Part of General Booth Road in Inverness will be temporarily closed to all traffic for two weeks.

The closure will be in place from 12.01am on March 18 until 6pm on April 3 to allow road construction works to be carried out safely, however access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained throughout.

It will be closed between its junction with the A82 Dalnottar to Inverness trunk road and its junction with the access road leading to the Kings Golf Course Clubhouse.

A diversion will be in place using the A82, including Glenurquhart Road, Tomnahurich Street and Kenneth Street; the A862, including Telford Street and Clachnaharry Road; and the C1118, including King Brude Road and part of General Booth Road.
