A popular bar in Inverness has shut its doors for the last time.

Revolution, based in Church Street, closed on Sunday, August 11 after seven years.

Taking to social media, the team said: “We want to extend a big thank you for all of your support and visits over the years.

“We hope you will give us a follow on @revolutionbars to keep up to date on all things Revs and join us in another location in the future. Thanks for the [memories] everyone.”

National firm, Revolution has closed 11 venues across the country and 25 more are set to close before the end of the year, having been hit by the cost-of-living crisis, pandemic backlash and more.
