The Sturrock review into bullying and harassment at NHS Highland cost the equivalent of a year's wages for almost six-and-a-half full-time staff nurses.
The Scottish Government has confirmed the inquiry, published last week, cost £138,888 – plus VAT – to complete.
The issue of widespread bullying at NHS Highland was originally brought to light by four whistle-blowers last year and the GMB union claimed the problem stretched back a decade.
