A STREET in Merkinch will be closed to traffic for several days next week while the road is resurfaced.

Highland Council has confirmed that Ord Terrace will be closed from May 4 to 7 between 8.30am and 5.30pm daily.

"Ord Terrace is a cul-de-sac and there are no alternative routes available for the vehicular traffic which will be affected by this closure," said a council spokesperson. "Local access will be maintained, subject to it being safe to accommodate such vehicles."
