Reduced-cost children’s food portions to be offered at Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival near Beauly
Reduced-cost children’s food portions are to be offered at the Belladrum Festival near Beauly as many families feel the strain of the high cost of living.
The festival, which takes place from July 25 to 27, is celebrating its 20th anniversary.
“As we prepare for another year of fun and entertainment, we are excited to introduce a new initiative aimed at supporting our Bella families and promoting sustainability - reduced-cost children's portions at £6,” it states.

The festival organisers say they are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all festival-goers.
“We understand that the current economic climate has put a strain on many families,” they state..
“By offering children's portions at a reduced cost, we aim to make it easier for families to enjoy the festival without worrying about high food expenses.”
They also say the provision of appropriately-sized portions for children will significantly reduce the amount of food waste generated at the event which also aligns with their commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.
The £6 initiative, for children aged aged 12 and under, is aimed at those who are looking for a full hot meal, where the serving size is too large for small appetites.
They add: “We are delighted to have a number of our food traders supporting this initiative in its first year and endeavour towards even more participating in 2025.
