Race for Life Inverness welcomes hundreds of runners to the Highland capital to help raise funds for Cancer Research UK
Hundreds of runners have raised tens of thousands of pounds for charity after pounding the streets of Inverness at the latest Race for Life.
The charity event, which is organised by Cancer Research UK, is held in towns and cities all across the UK over the course of the year.
And the latest in the ever-popular series of fundraisers rolled back into the Highland capital on Sunday.
Despite a showery forecast the city remained largely dry and organisers were delighted with the attended.
And, as you can see from these snapshots, there were plenty of happy faces taking part in the 5k and 10k courses at Bught Park and the local area.
Keep an eye peeled on this website tomorrow for loads more pictures of the action and a more in-depth write-up.
Will you or someone you know be among those in the snapshots?
