Puppy power! Yoga fun raises funds for RNLI Loch Ness lifeboat
A pack of cute wee puppies who have been charming fans of the RNLI Loch Ness lifeboat in recent weeks have helped to raise more funds for the lifesaving cause.
The cute wee Labradors, which are the young puppies of volunteer Kieron's dog Roxy, were the stars of the show when they popped into the station a few weeks ago for an impromptu photo shoot with the lifeboat crew.
Indeed, such is their connection to the crew and RNLI, that the pups have each been been named after classes of lifeboat - Mersey, Severn, Tamar, Shannon, Trent, Atlantic, Ruby, Tyne, Watson, Waveney, and Arun.
And, before they head off to their forever homes, they were back in action again when they popped along to a special “yoga session with a difference” recently - a puppy yoga event that raised £153 for the RNLI station.

A spokesperson for the crew, commenting about the puppies latest cute antics on the station’s Facebook page, said: “You're probably tired of puppy photos now aren't you? You couldn't possibly bear to see more photos of puppies during a puppy yoga session...?
“Sorry, absolutely not sorry, but we're going to subject you to more!
“Thanks very much to volunteer crew member Georgia for offering to run a yoga session with a difference. As you probably already know, Kieron's dog Roxy had 11 pups a few months ago.
“So we thought we'd use them in a cynical attempt to appeal to people's love all things cute in a fundraising event before they head off to their forever homes,” they joked.
“Unsurprisingly there was no shortage of willing volunteers and the yoga session raised £153 for our station.
“The RNLI relies on the support of you the public to fund everything from crew PPE, to buildings and the lifeboats themselves. We're all volunteers at RNLI Loch Ness and every donation makes a difference. Our thanks to everyone who contributed to the yoga session this week!”
