ADULTS with learning disabilities have visited Milton of Leys Primary in a bid to raise awareness about bullying.

They told the pupils about personal experiences and the youngsters were encouraged to reflect on how behaviour such as judging and mocking can impact other people’s feelings.

Mona Archer from Key Housing Inverness, a charity the group are involved in, went along too. “It was great,” she said. “We had a lovely visit, with around 50 pupils attending our presentation.

“There were many shocked faces when asked to think of themselves in a situation where someone told them they could not sit somewhere or dress in a certain way, and they realised how this can have a negative impact.”
