Bargain hunters look set to get a new Poundland store in Inverness.

The retailer has been given permission to put up a new storefront in Carsegate Road.

There is currently already a store on the Highland capital's High Street.

This story supersedes earlier incorrect reports that the building was going to be a new Poundstretcher store. The unit was a former Poundstretcher store.
