After First Minister Nicola Sturgeon announced the Highlands will move into Tier 4 on Boxing Day in a bid to halt the spread of coronavirus, we asked our readers what they thought.
And after a day's voting it seems that two out of three people who responded do not think it was the right decision.
Tier 4 restrictions will see pubs, bars, gyms, restaurants and all non-essential shops close for three weeks.
School holidays will also be extended to January 11, followed by online learning.
Of the 3598 people who had voted by lunchtime on Monday, 32% or 1156 agreed with the restrictions, while 68% 2442 said they did not agree to the Highlands moving into Tier 4.
