The vast majority of respondents feel that Prime Minister Boris Johnson should resign according to the latest poll.

We asked readers whether they felt he should stay in the post after he finally admitted that he attended the "bring your own booze" party in the Downing Street garden.

Yesterday he apologised for being at the event in May 2020 and told MPs it was technically within the rules but he should have realised how it would look to the public.

According to the results 78 per cent of those who took part in the survey felt that he should resign, while 17 per cent felt that he should not and six per cent said they did not care.
