UPDATE: Wick man who disappeared after Inverness day trip is found

UPDATE: Police have confirmed that a missing man who disappeared following a day trip to Inverness has been found safe and well.

The alarm was raised when William Doull (57), from Wick, failed to return to Caithness. He had last been seen in Inverness city centre at 4.30pm on Wednesday.

Police launched an appeal for help in tracing him early on Thursday.

They later released an update saying they had located him safe and well.
