Police appeal for information of the whereabouts of missing 54-year-old Inverness man Allan Alexander Muir who was last seen on Sunday

Officers in Inverness are appealing for help to trace 54-year-old Allan Alexander Muir who has been reported missing.

He was last seen about 7.30am on Sunday – he was wearing black shoes, black jeans, red and blue tartan jacket and a green jacket and was carrying a black bag with what is believed to be a metal lego of an eagle.

Mr Muir is described as being of medium build, 5ft 10ins tall, has long dark brown hair – longer than in this photo – brown eyes, a short brown beard and a local accent.

He has tattoos on both arms, but it is unknown what they are of, and was wearing a copper band on his left wrist. He is known to frequent Inverness city centre.

Anyone with any information that may help officers should contact Police Scotland on 101 or via the website, quoting incident number PS-20210518-0132.
