Police launch enquiry after woman (35) found injured in Inverness

Police say they are making enquiries to “establish the circumstances” that led to a person being found injured on Caledonian Road in Inverness this morning.

The 35-year-old woman was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for treatment after police were called at around 11.20am.

Police added that the woman had also been arrested in connection with an outstanding warrant, unrelated to the matter.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.20am on Saturday, November 2, 2024 we were called to a report of an injured woman in Caledonian Road, Inverness.

“Officers attended and the 35-year-old woman was taken to Raigmore Hospital for treatment.

“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances.

“The woman was also arrested in connection with an unrelated matter.”
