Inverness police have issued an appeal for information after an attempted car theft in a city neighbourhood.

An attempt was made to steal a blue Volvo S40 car which was parked in Ross Avenue, Dalneigh, between May 17 and 24.

Anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers Anonymous on 0800 555 111 and quote incident number 20210524-1786.
