Police investigating attack on a teenage woman in Inverness last night

Police have said they are investigating after a 17-year-old woman was assaulted in Dalneigh last night, Monday March 15.

The young woman, who did not require medical treatment, was attacked at 10.45pm on Dalneigh Road.

Police said enquiries into the incident were "ongoing".

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “We are investigating a report that a 17-year-old woman was assaulted in the Dalneigh area of Inverness at around 10.45pm on Monday March 15. She did not require medical treatment.

“Enquiries are ongoing into the incident.”
