Police investigating after wooden stake found dangling over A9 near Inverness Campus

Police officers in Inverness are investigating after someone dangled a wooden stake over the A9.

It was discovered hanging from the Golden Bridge at 3.05am yesterday.

A police spokeswoman said: "Officers are now investigating the matter."

Anyone with information should call police on 101, or report the matter anonymously to Crimestoppers 0800 555 111.
