Inverness property cordoned by police after blood discovered on front door step
Police are investigating after blood was reportedly found on the doorstep of a property on Muirtown Street, near the Telford Roundabout, early this morning.
Officers have cordoned off a property on Muirtown Street, near the Telford Roundabout, at around 7am. One person has been taken to hospital.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “Around 7.15am on Friday, 31 October, 2025, officers received a report of concern for a man injured on Muirtown Street, Inverness.
“The man was taken to hospital for treatment.”
Police earlier confirmed that an ambulance and critical care paramedic were dispatched to the scene.
Police tape has been put up at the entrance leading to the front garden, and police vehicles have been pictured outside.
The nature of the incident is not yet known.
