Police are carrying out inquiries following a crash on the A87.

Police are continuing their inquiries following a crash involving a car and a motorbike on the A87 yesterday.

The 61-year-old male rider of the motorbike was taken to hospital by air ambulance and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the crash.

A87 closed following serious crash on Invergarry to Skye road

The incident, which happened about 10.25am, resulted in the closure of the A87 between Invergarry and Bun Loyne.

Police Scotland reported the road had fully reopened about 5pm.

It said: “We’d like to thank motorists for their patience while enquiries were carried out.”
