The officers, from Project Servator, were there to meet members of the public.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Our Specially Trained Officers in Inverness city centre today, delivering Project Servator deployments asking the public to report any suspicious behaviour."

The operation was designed to disrupt a range of criminal activity.
