Almost 200 pills were found in an Inverness man's underwear when he was searched by police.

Inverness Sheriff Court heard Adam Scott (34) was searched by police after they found him in the city's McEwan Drive on July 31, apparently under the influence of some substance.

They found 197 benzodiazapine tablets valued at a pound each hidden in two containers concealed in his boxer shorts.

Scott is already serving a prison sentence for another matter and was jailed for a further 28 days.
