Police charge two teenagers after attack in Inverness

Police have charged two teenagers in connection with an assault in Inverness.

A report is being made to the procurator fiscal about two young men, aged 13 and 15, after an attack on a man on Kinmylies Way, Inverness.

After the attack, police said there was "considerable upset" in the community.

A police spokeswoman said: "Following the investigation into an assault an assault on Kinmylies Way, Inverness on Wednesday November 11, Police Scotland can confirm that two male youths - aged 15 and 13 - have now been charged.

"A report is being submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

"Officers would like to thank the public for their support following the incident."

Inspector Alastair Garrow added: "We know this incident caused considerable upset in the local community and we are in regular contact with the victim's parents.

"They would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of support and love shown for their son and the family at this difficult time."
