The A832 near Munlochy was partially blocked this afternoon following a collision between a bus and a van.

Police were alerted around 2.30pm and sent to the scene.

A Police Scotland spokesman confirmed the incident was on the Fortrose side of the village and there were no injuries as a result.

Robbie Thwaites, a 55-year-old community carer from Avoch, was driving his vehicle at the time and witnessed the incident. He said: "I was thinking this junction is a nightmare."

He said the bus hit a road sign after the initial collision and it was lying on its side.
