Police call for witnesses to break in at Inverness church

Police Scotland are investigating an incident where entry was gained to Smithton Church on Murray Road, through a roof hatch.

The incident occurred between the hours of 7pm on Sunday September 13 and 8am on Monday September 14 2020.

A police spokesman said: "We are looking to speak with any pedestrians, cyclists or motorist in the area with any information into any persons seen acting suspiciously in the area during these hours.

"Anyone with information please contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting the reference number NN/5587/20."
