Police call for witnesses after plants stolen from a community flower bed in Nairn

Police in Nairn are calling for witnesses after £100–worth of plants were stolen from a community flower bed.

The theft, from St Ninian Road, took place between Tuesday April 27 and Thursday May13.

A spokesman said: "Police in Nairn have received a report of theft of plants from a community flower bed on the town's St Ninian Road.

"Over £100 pounds worth of plants were removed from the large flowerbed between Tuesday, 27 April and Thursday, 13 May, 2021."

He added: "As part of ongoing enquiries police would like to hear from anyone who has witnessed anything suspicious or has any information on the thefts - please make contact via 101 quoting police reference NM840/21."
