Police appeal for witnesses after attempted break in at Inverness supermarket

Police in Inverness are appealing for information after an attempted housebreaking at a city supermarket.

Officers said attempts to gain entry to the Spar Store on Montague Row, Inverness were made in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

A police spokesman said: "The incident occurred between 0220 hours and 0230 hours on Wednesday August 12 2020 where attempts have been made to gain entry to the store.

"Anyone who has any information regarding this incident then please attend at your local Police Station, contact 101 and quote incident number NN4863/20 or alternatively if you wish to remain anonymous by phoning Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
