Police are appealing for information after thieves broke into an Inverness football club and stole a large quantity of alcohol using a wheelie bin.

The incident happened at Grant Street Park - the home of Clachnacuddin FC - in Wyvis Place between 3am and 4am on Sunday November 17.

The alcohol was stolen from the lounge bar.

The break-in occurred between 3am and 4am on Sunday, 17 November, 2024 and a large quantity of alcohol was stolen from the lounge bar.

Police Scotland says three suspects, all believed to be male, are known to have approached the stadium from the direction of Kilmuir Road.

Following the break-in, shortly before 4am, the men returned along Kilmuir Road possessing bags which they were struggling to carry.

One of the suspects is known to have used a wheelie bin to carry items from Benula Road into Telford Road.

Detectives are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the suspects or who has dashcam or CCTV footage of the suspects, to contact them.
