POLICE have appealed for information after a garden centre was broken into.

Simpson's Garden Centre in Inverness was targeted over the weekend.

Police confirmed that nothing was stolen "but some items within were disturbed".

"Entry was forced to the premises off Culloden Road around 2.15am on Sunday," added a spokesman for the force.

"Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting incident 0903 of May 24, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
