Police appeal after robbery in Inverness city centre
The incident happened near to the entrance to St Marys Church around 1.05am this morning when a man and woman were approached and threatened by a man.
The woman dropped her handbag and the suspect made off with it. He is described as white, around 5ft 9ins, of skinny build with dark hair.

The couple were not injured but left extremely upset by what happened.
Detective Constable Ellie Logan said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who may have been in the area at the time of this incident.
“Enquiries suggest the man responsible ran off in the direction of a lane that runs towards King Street. Enquiries suggest another man was also in the area and we are keen to speak to him as he may be able to assist.
