Man suffers 'number of' face injuries during assault in Highlands

A 27-year-old man sustained a number of injuries to his face when he was assaulted in Tain.

The incident happened in a car park in Argyle Court at around 4.30am yesterday. He was treated at the scene by paramedics.

Police are appealing for information.

The first suspect is described as a white male in his mid-to-late 20s, around 6ft tall, of slim build with short dark hair. He was wearing a blue jacket and blue jeans.

The second white male is said to be in his mid-to-late 20s, around 5ft 10in tall, of slim build with short dark hair and was wearing a black jacket with black tracksuit bottoms.

Sergeant Nicola MacDonald said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this assault or who was in the area at the time to contact police.

“A man has sustained a number of injuries and we are asking anyone who may have information matching these descriptions to get in contact with us.”
