Police advise motorists of short road closures while ‘collision reconstruction’ is conducted in Inverness this evening

Short road closures will be affecting traffic at the A9 junction with the B9006 near Inshes in Inverness this evening.

Disruption is expected to be kept to a minimum, police say, while “collision reconstruction work” is carried out on the road and slip road southbound at the junction near Inshes.

Work is expected to be carried out from around 8pm.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Road policing officers will be carrying out collision reconstruction work on the A9 junction with the B9006 at Inshes in Inverness this evening.

“Work will take place on the road and slip road southbound from around 8pm on Monday, March 3.

“This will include short road closures and we will keep any disruption to a minimum.

“Thanks in advance for the patience and understanding of any road users affected.”
