Organisers of the planned Parking Lot Social event have postponed bringing entertainment to the Highlands.

Glasgow-based events company XL Event Lab planned to bring The Parking Lot Social to Inverness from September 9 to 13, billed as socially distanced fun for up to 250 cars including films, "car-a-oke", bingo, silent disco, live bands, quizzes, comedy and food.

For families with younger children, a ‘Social Kids’ event was also planned.

Organisers have now announced, however, that the Highland capital outing has been postponed after negotiations over a venue for it fell through.
