Harry Gow launches vegan pie with giveaway days

Highland bakers Harry Gow is giving away free pies this week - for vegans.

The popular bakery has recently added a vegan option to their range, a sweet chilli chickpea pastry option.

They will be given away with any savoury purchase at certain outlets this week.

The firm said they are made with butternut squash, chickpeas, coconut milk, onion, kale and a mix of herbs and spices.

The shops involved are as follows:

  • Dingwall - Monday May 16
  • Keith - Wednesday May 18
  • Inverness - Union Street - Thursday May 19
  • Alness - Saturday May 21
  • Inverness - Grant Street - Monday May 23
  • Inverness - Kingsmills - Tuesday May 24
  • Beauly - Thursday May 26
  • Invergordon - Friday May 27
  • Brora - Tuesday May 31
  • Inverness - Telford Street - Wednesday June 1
  • Dornoch - Thursday June 2
  • Elgin - Friday June 3
