CLOTHING from recycled and upcycled materials took centre stage at the Highland Creative Showcase.

The event at Inverness College UHI was a celebration of creative arts providing a platform to show off the talents of hairdressing, make-up and media students.

The event included a fashion show featuring clothing by art students, as well as by HNC fashion make-up student Victoria James for her new label Not Normal Designs.

Hairdressing students also ran demonstrations.

The event was compered by BA (Hons) drama and performance students, while event management and organising of the event was led by students studying NC media.

A college spokeswoman said: “This showcase was a collaborative event, bringing together different departments to celebrate the creative talents of our students.

“It was an opportunity for students to present their work in public and represented a fitting end to their studies this term.”
