PICTURES: Highland Synchronised Ice Skating teams showed off their skills Inverness Ice Centre

THE teams took part in their annual Ice Factor event, which was postponed in December due to Covid restrictions, on May 6.

The show was a chance for skaters of all ages to perform and raise money for transport and hotels for their competitions.

Four teams – Highland Pups, Aurora, Northern Lights and Highlanders – train weekly at the ice centre to perfect their skills and compete around the UK.

Synchronised skaters from all teams took part in solo, duet and group performances in a friendly competition where winners were chosen by the crowd.

The audience enjoyed food and drink served on-site while watching the performances.

Through ticket sales, a tombola and a raffle, the team raised £1700.

Highland Industrial Supplies (HIS) donated a number of items for the raffle.
