Inverness’s Drummond School raises almost £16,000 after very successful masquerade spring ball in the Highland capital
Delighted school parents have hailed the community’s generosity after their first Masquerade Spring Fling ball raised almost £16,000.
Drummond School Parent Council held the fundraising dance at the Lochardil House Hotel at the weekend.
And they say they are “incredibly grateful” after a night “filled with celebration, community and… love for the amazing children” raised the incredible sum of £15,603.
The money raised will be used to help fund the creation of “more special experiences and opportunities for the children at Drummond School”.
A spokesperson said: “On behalf of the Drummond School Parent Council, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported us through the months of planning our very first Masquerade Spring Fling.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to announce that together, we raised an incredible £15,603!
“The evening was absolutely beautiful - a night filled with celebration, community, and most importantly, love for the amazing children at Drummond School.
“We are incredibly grateful to our sponsors - without these amazing people and businesses, events like this wouldn’t be possible. Your support means everything.”

His interactive performances created moments of laughter and awe throughout the day, and we are so grateful for the joy and excitement he added to the celebration
