SCHOOL children in Inverness enjoyed having a party to celebrate Red Nose Day.
The event, which is organised every year by UK-wide charity Comic relief, aims to raise funds in their effort to support people living in poverty.
This year, pupils from Kinmylies Primary had fun with a pay-to-play quiz, a staffroom sweepstake, a dress up as your favourite superhero or dress down day and are hosted a design a superhero mask competition, with all of the events being organised by the Pupil Council.
Principal teacher, Jennifer Tyronney, said that they raised more than £270 on the day.
Depute head at Balloch Primary, Clare Petrie, said: “We had a crazy hair and wear bright colours day. Great fun was had by all and we were able to support Red Nose Day charities by accepting donations from the children and staff.”
