PICTURES: ‘Real treat’ for Inverness as 48-hour filmmakers prepare for Eden Court showings
This weekend, hundreds of filmmakers ran wild through the Highlands making movies as part of Scotland's biggest ever filmmaking event, the 48 Hour Film Project.
The first of its kind for Inverness, the competition kicked off at Eden Court on Friday when 20 different teams drew a genre out of a hat.

Then a character, prop and line of dialogue were announced that must be included in each film.
Character: Leah or Lee Crompton, athlete
Prop: a rock
Line of dialogue: "Pretty please."
Depute Provost for Inverness, Jackie Hendry, welcomed the project to Inverness and wished the teams best of luck in their wild and crazy weekends, saying: "It is a real treat that it is being held in Inverness."
Teams from all over Scotland filmed in some of the most spectacular locations across the Highlands and Islands, from the Cairngorms to the Islands.
All films will be screened at Eden Court on Wednesday July 24 across two showings.
Each screening will be followed by a Q and A with the filmmakers and a chance to vote for your favourites.
Audience members are invited to stay after for the Awards Party where they will get a free drink with their cinema ticket.
