Toddlers from an Inverness group were helping to contribute towards a £500 fundraising target for MFR’s Cash For Kids appeal.

They were all aged between 18 months and three years old and attended festive-themed Physiball Inverness sessions at Smithton Green Hall in Sinclair Terrace in Smithton.

Organiser Louise Fraser (29), from Inverness, said it had been running for eight years and was a sports coaching activity which encouraged peer social engagement with children their own age.

She said the classes normally ran all week during term time, but last week she wanted to do something more with it being such a terrible year for so many due to the pandemic.

During the holiday week she ran eight classes, with all proceeds going straight to MFR Cash For Kids.

Mrs Fraser said: “I am really hopeful to raise £500 which would help 10 children so fingers crossed.

“Every year I support Cash For Kids.

“I have children of my own who I know are really blessed and would hate to think of any children missing out over Christmas.”
