PICTURES: PureGym Inverness raise funds for British Heart Foundation and Mental Health UK

Staff at PureGym Inverness have hosted a charity night, raising funds for the British Heart Foundation and Mental Health UK.

There were upbeat tunes from DJ Grace Nicoll at the event, along with a range of stalls including smoothie bar JuicyNess and sports clothing company Activ3 Clothing.

Gym goers also enjoyed a special charity circuits class.

The event formed part of PureGym’s nationwide Hearts and Minds relay which saw similar events in more than 300 gyms, involving 2000 employees.

This week the chain has been undertaking a collective effort to cover as much distance as possible through cycling, walking, running and more.

Inverness staff took part in a virtual cycle to Balmoral Castle to add to the fundraising total.

Manager Ewen MacBean said: “From cycling, running, walking, dancing to rowing our teams will cover a huge distance to raise important funds for the British Heart Foundation and Mental Health UK.
