Pupils at an Inverness primary did themselves proud by organising a Christmas celebration for the whole school.

P7 pupils at Kirkhill Primary planned all the activities for a winter wonderland day last week.

Children could enjoy sleigh and scooter rides, a magic show and dancing, with all activities carried out according to strict Covid-19 regulations for schools.

Head teacher Georgina Dunbar said: "It was an absolutely brilliant day and the kids all had a lot of fun.

"P7 really organised a wonderful day of activities and fun, and it was a fantastic opportunity to bring the whole school together as, over the last few months, they have had to do everything separately for Covid.

"Activities were rotational and it was all organised within the classes’ bubbles but it was a lovely way to have a proper Christmas party together, and all the school absolutely loved it.

"Every activity was mentioned as a favourite from our students when we asked."
