With relatively balmy temperatures of three degrees a Boxing Day charity swim in Loch Ness was warmer this time around than previous years.
Almost 40 hardy souls made it into the water to raise cash for Blythswood Care and organisers said they were delighted with the result.
Dippers were taken to Dores Beach for free by Inverness Taxis and the company’s general manager Wojciech Kobialka jumped into the loch himself to raise cash.
He said: “It was a lot of fun to get into the water and to raise some money for a good cause. It was cold, but definitely worth it.”
The company hopes to raise £1000 for Blythswood Care which provides help for those in need at home and abroad.
